Caught in a Storm

Lightning strikes the opposite hillside from the Tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh, Hue, Vietnam.

The internet in Hue, Vietnam has been non-existent.  More blog posts are coming once I find a good signal.

I was in the hills of Hue, Vietnam the other day working my way through a few mausoleums or King's tombs.  I knew a storm was rolling in as soon as I climbed the last of my 127 steps at the Tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh.  The sky went dark, the wind picked up, and the temperature cooled down instantly.

Looking out into the distance of the valley, I caught a flash of lightning.  Several seconds later a loud rumbled nearly shoot me out of my flip flops.  I had two options:

1.  Run for cover,
2.  Stay and enjoy the show.

I chose the latter and enjoyed a spectacular show similar to Fantasmic at Disneyland.
