On October 24, GoPro announced their latest and greatest HD camcorder, the HD Hero2. GoPro's headline for the camcorder includes, "Professional Power to the People," and I think they mean it. The specs are amazing and the performance looks promising.

At $300 the HD Hero2 promises to be the best bang for the buck camera on the market. HDSLRs offer amazing performance, but are bulky, expensive, and not bombproof like the GoPro. For the same price as a Canon T2i with the 18-55 kit lens, you can grab two HD Hero2's.
